Taste and sip your way through the 2018 Gold Coast Food & Wine Festival

The Gold Coast Food & Wine Festival is back for its third year, with more than 30 delicious events happening across the Gold Coast between Thursday May 31 and Sunday June 3. The city's rich culinary landscape will be in the spotlight for three days of fine food, wine and flavour-packed entertainment. Can you think of a better way to kick off winter?

The 2018 Gold Coast Food & Wine Festival program is brimming with goodness for every type of foodie, no matter if you’re into fine dining or prefer cheese and wine at a simple sun-kissed picnic. Those wanting to indulge their refined palates can head to the Three’s Company dining event on Thursday May 31, which will see celebrated chefs Paul Carmichael (Momofuku Seiōbo), Chase Kojima (Sokyo and Kiyomi) and Kelvin Andrews (Nineteen at The Star) come together in the Nineteen at The Star kitchen, or you can venture north to the sumptuous five-course degustation event at Sirromet Winery.

If craft beer and food trucks are more your style, then get along to Local Flavours at Burleigh Brewing on Friday June 1 – you’ll also get a chance to taste the popular brewer’s limited-edition 8.5% IPA. Prefer wine and cheese? You won’t want to miss the Bubbles and Brie event at NightQuarter on June 1 – you can also check out the Gin and High Tea event while you’re out there. On Saturday June 2, there’s four-stop Taste of the Gold Coast food tour for the ultimate foodie, or you can let your hair down at the Gold Coast Beer Festival from midday. The Creekside Picnic at O’Reilly’s on Sunday June 3 is the perfect way to wrap up three days of deliciousness. That’s just the tip of the iceberg – jump over here to check out the full Gold Coast Food & Wine Festival program.

The Stumble Guide is our comprehensive Gold Coast dining guide with more than 870 places to eat, drink, shop and play.
