Enjoy an ‘up late’ progressive dinner at The Kitchens Food Safari

Do you ever dream of eating your way around the world? We do. Pretty much on the daily. Well, get your tastebuds ready, because we've found the next best thing – the Food Safari at The Kitchens. The foodie playground has announced its first international progressive dinner, to be held on Friday May 5, and you're invited.

Friends, get set to go on a culinary journey like no other. The Kitchens Food Safari will treat diners to a vibrant evening of delicious cuisine, with a progressive multi-course dinner being staged throughout the eateries on level four. There is some serious magic happening on the upper level (and we’re not just talking about that mind-blowing timber-clad roof), so the Food Safari is the perfect opportunity to experience the goodness first-hand. The exclusive dining experience will be hosted by culinary tour guides, with live local musicians creating the perfect atmosphere to discover new tastes from across the globe and uncover the eateries at The Kitchens, all in one mouth-watering night.

The ticketed event will start at Honeyeater Kitchen, with owner and head chef Trent Scarr plating up a series of canapes and cocktails from its unique alfresco location. The tastes of Asia will shine through for the canapes, with modern Thai restaurant Chong Co and casual Japanese eatery Hero Sushi Platinum both presenting a delicious combination of flavours. Popular South American eatery Fiery Deli will spice things up with a spread of Venezuelan delights like arepas and empanadas, before the culinary tour guides take diners to Saiko Teppanyaki, for a theatrical display and a fresh Japanese feast. The desserts will be kept, raw, vegan and gluten-free, with sweet delights from plant-based eatery Elixiba. The Food Safari will finish on a high note with coffees, cocktails and treats from The Kitchens own dedicated espresso martini bar, Crafted Coffee Co. Tickets to the The Kitchens Food Safari on Friday May 5 are just $50, head over here to nab your spot.

The Stumble Guide is our comprehensive Gold Coast dining guide with more than 870 places to eat, drink, shop and play.
