For owners Kelly Singh and Marie Phillips, signing a lease on new premises at the peak of a global pandemic wasn’t exactly what they had planned for 2020. When the opportunity for a well-positioned newly vacant site presented itself right in the thick of the coronavirus lockdown, the duo – acutely aware of the very few cafe options in Robina for local folk and commuters hustling their way thought to the M1 – jumped straight on it and got to work. Parkway is located in the Robina Quays shopping complex on Robina Parkway, joining French-influenced Japanese dining gem Cocotte and sweets haven My French Pastries. The duo completely overhauled the former real-estate office from the ground up, transforming the site’s exterior into a landscaped 70-seat alfresco dining area complete with gardens of herbs and edible flowers, along with plenty of lush greenery.
Parkway offers an all-day menu that takes you from breakfast classics through to hearty lunch dishes – and there’s also a cabinet brimming with tasty sandwiches, baked treats and molten toasties for those on the go. Grab a spot in the sunshine and enjoy moreish bacon and egg rolls, Parkway’s signature eggs benny (also available in burger form – it’s a saucy delight), classic smashed avo, sourdough bruschetta, sourdough crumpets with zingy lemon curd and colourful acai bowls – all best paired with the brew of your choice made with a house blend by Brisbane roaster Kulh-cher Coffee. Kelly and Marie are also in the process of acquiring a liquor licence for Parkway, which will eventually see the space open for evening trade and events.
Parkway is now open! Scoot to our Stumble Guide for its opening hours and contact details.
