Following the success of its flagship Broadbeach cafe, which opened nearly four years ago, owners Atlanta and Mark Fowler took the healthy vibes south with a second venue in Burleigh Waters. Now, Broadbeach locals and time-strapped heath-conscious foodies will have access to Brio’s goodness on the daily with its new on-the-go takeaway hub.
The new space is an express version of its popular sibling venues, dishing up an offering of gluten-free, refined-sugar free and anti-inflammatory cuisine, making it a delicious haven for those that live a ketogenic (full-fat, low-carb) lifestyle. You’ll find jam-packed breakfast bowls and protein bowls brimming with fresh-made fillings like dairy-free scrambled eggs, grass-fed brisket beef, free-range-pork chilli con carne, sauerkraut, spinach and cashew cheese. Smoothies, coffees and smoothie bowls are also pumped out, as well as satisfying ketogenic-friendly sweets like ice-cream sandwiches and, of course, the towering Fat Boy Sundaes.
