Champagne Weekends are held every Saturday and Sunday at Garden Kitchen & Bar at The Star, and includes a delicious share-style menu and bottomless champagne, which will flow freely for two hours. The standard Champagne Weekends offering features a shared lunch with (we repeat – bottomless) Moët Chandon Brut Impérial for $99 per person, or you can upgrade your package to include drops like Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label Brut NV and Veuve Clicquot Brut Rosé – while those having a ‘treat yo’self’ moment can opt for free-flowing 2006 Dom Pérignon.
Recently, Champagne Weekends welcomed a re-imagined menu, featuring a delectable series of vibrant and indulgent new dishes. The all-new shared menu features the likes of fresh pacific oysters with a cabernet sauvignon mignonette, and house-smoked salmon with baby cos leaves, miso mayonnaise, pickled eschallots and bread crisps. You’ll also be treated to baked ricotta with candied pine nuts (hello) and larger share plates like Borrowdale pork with fig, burnt-onion mayonnaise and dehydrated crackle (be still, our beating hearts). To finish? Pear and frangipane friands with pear-fluid gel, mandarin sorbet and almond-brandy snaps. All of that will be enjoyed while you kick back and sip bottomless bubbles in Garden Kitchen & Bar’s dreamy setting.
