It’s known as one of the most produce-rich regions in the country, so it makes sense that the Tweed has its own dedicated foodie fiesta. The 10-day event kicks off on Friday July 5 with mulled wine and street food at the Kingscliff Night Market, before foodies descend on Seasons restaurant for its signature Winter Wine Dinner on Saturday July 6. Make sure you get tickets to the Fashion and Food Show in Kingscliff on Monday July 8, then settle in for winter warmers at Shanks and Shiraz at the Cudgen Head Surf Club that night.
On Thursday July 11, chef Ben Devlin will be hosting a bookings-only woodfired feast at his new Pottsville restaurant Pipit, while on Saturday July 13 you can go on a brewery tour of Pickled Pig, before heading to the Beef and Bottles Dinner at Brothers Cafe, Bar and Restaurant. Friends, that’s just the tip of the iceberg! There are a bunch of free and ticketed events rolling out across the festival to suit all tastes and budgets. Head to the Taste Tweed website to view the festival program and book in your favourites.
