The coast’s biggest dog market Paws at the Park returns for another day of four-legged fun

While the coast's market circuit is full of fashion, food and craft, there's one event that always captures our eye at this time of year – Paws at the Park. That's right, puppy lovers – the city's biggest dog market is back on Saturday August 24 for a full day of fun with your furry friends!

Whether you’re a passionate dog owner, a wannabe fur parent, or you just love dogs so much that random pups are constantly featured on your Instagram, then do not miss a minute of Paws at the Park. Its creators Lia Ferguson and Jenna Schroeder are back with the 8th edition of the wildly popular dog market, which will take over Mudgeeraba Showgrounds on Saturday August 24. This year is set to be bigger than ever with more than 100 dog-centric market stalls to line the precinct – plus, the event has also been named as the official 60th anniversary celebration for the Animal Welfare League QLD (AWLQ).

Attendees can stroll through the dog markets and human-food stalls, head to the stage to listen to talks and an industry panel on dog nutrition, and get skilled with demonstrations on agility and training. There will be an off-lead area (separated for big and small pups) as well as competitions for best-dressed dogs! Paws at the Park will kick off at 9:00 am on Saturday August 24 and run through until 2:00 pm. Yes, it’s BYO dog! On a leash, of course.
