The countdown to Cup Day is on – sip, snack and catch all of the action at Isoletto Privé & Lawn

With less than a month until Melbourne Cup, venues are filling up thick and fast. If you want to spend Tuesday November 7 in style, don your best fascinator and frock or suit and tie and saunter into Isoletto Privé & Lawn. It's here where a sophisticated Race Day soiree awaits, brimming with sumptuous fare, whistle-wetting sips and excellent entertainment.

A hot contender for the most ‘grammable Race Day celebration, Isoletto Privé & Lawn’s Melbourne Cup Day event is one for the books. Overlooking Broadbeach with views of the ocean, Isoletto offers fashionable folk the chance to sip on a three-hour Moet & Chandon Brut Rosé Imperial NV beverage package while basking in the sunshine. The package includes sparkling, wine, beers and non-alcoholic options, while a Moet & Chandon Brut Rose Imperial NV pop-up bar on the Isoletto Lawn is sure to keep thirsty folk sated.

The fare is flavoursome to say the least, with three hours of substantial premium roving canapes and live chef food stations. Start at the oyster station, packed full of freshly shucked oysters served with your choice of fresh lemon, finger lime, mignonette, bacon or onion dressing. You can savour charcuterie delights from the antipasto station (think cured meats, chutneys, cheese, bread and fresh fruit) before watching the chefs cook you spaghetti in a 24-month-old Parmigiano Reggiano at the parmesan wheel station. There will also be a bounty of roaming canapes like smoked-salmon blinis, tropical shrimp salad, crispy asparagus rolls and two-cheese arancini. Sure to satisfy your hunger is substantial fare like the pork and fennel orecchiette pasta, braised beef short rib with creamy mash potato, and truffle mushroom pizza. Then it’s time to make your way to the dessert station to satisfy your sweet tooth with a selection of handmade mini desserts.

When you’re not feasting or tasting the range of champagne, wine and beer included in your package, you’ll be enjoying live acoustic and DJ entertainment, races on the big screens, a special guest MC and partaking in the fabulous Fashions off the Field competition.

Tickets to Isoletto Privé & Lawn’s Melbourne Cup celebration are $249 per person, with the event running from 12:00–4:00 pm. Get your ticket via The Star Gold Coast website
