The first keg of Burleigh Brewing Co.’s limited-edition Red Festive Lager will run through the taps from 3:00 pm, so get down early to be one of the first to taste this new crimson brew. The new drop has been brewed in Burleigh Brewing’s pilot plant and will be a very limited run – it’ll be exclusively available on tap at the taphouse from December 8 until it’s gone! Whilst the bright-red lager is still currently being brewed (it’ll come out just in time for the event … fresssssh), the team told us to expect hints of caramel and touch of nuttiness, and a fine balance between bitterness and malt characters to create a very sessionable and approachable lager. Like all Burleigh Brewing beers, this one is completely natural, with the colour coming from the type of grain selected and the brewing process.

If you’re a serial snacker, then you’ll be happy know that the Get Festive event will also feature a delicious line-up of food trucks, including Barraca, Little Wahaca, Little Havana Food Truck (hellooo reuben sandwich). Oh, and you’ll also be able to treat your earholes to the sweet tunes of local talents Matty Rogers, Brother Fox and Micka Scene & Pacha Mamma. So there you have it – one exclusive new beer, three food trucks and three live-music acts – yep, you’re in for a jolly good time. Get Festive kicks off at 3:00 pm on Friday December 8.
