Winter tends to get a bit of a bad wrap among us summer-loving locals but there’s something deeply satisfying about sitting around a fire. Time seems to escape into a vortex of dancing flames against a backdrop of crackles and pops. Slightly charred marshmallows that accidentally (on purpose) catch on fire and that unmistakable aroma – it’s one of the season’s true joys. From Friday June 9 until Sunday August 13, Robina Pavilion is luring you out of hibernation with the promise of toasted marshmallows and cocktails by the fire.

Each fire pit fits up to ten people and is available for bookings from Friday to Sunday, with a $250 booking deposit redeemable on all food and beverages purchased during your lakeside sesh. You can dig in to pizzas, hot chippies and other belly-warming snacks, while you sip on your drink of choice by the warm fire. Every booking comes with complimentary marshmallows and roasting sticks, so sweet tooths will be well and truly sated. The sunset sessions run from 4:00–6:00 pm, or enjoy a night under the stars with evening bookings running from 6:30–8:30 pm. Ready to toast?
