BLOWFISH Ocean Grill + Bar drops a two-course lunch menu
As much as we love a long lunch, sometimes, our schedules just doesn’t allow for such leisurely pursuits. Broadbeach’s seafood-centric destination restaurant, BLOWFISH Ocean Grill + Bar has just announced a new two-course lunchtime menu. For $69, you can enjoy an entree and main course, or a main and dessert. The menu, crafted by Moo Moo Hospitality Group executive head chef Trent Robson, includes the likes of fresh oysters, tempura Northern Rivers Moreton Bay bug roll, king ora salmon, whole black sole (500g) and the market-fresh seafood pasta cavatelli. There’s even a steak tasting board featuring wagyu rump cap and Westholme tenderloin.

Delight in a decadent chocolate dragon egg and whisky pairing at Yamagen
At Yamagen, indulgence is best paired with whisky and chocolate. If you’re in the mood for something a little bit (a lot) extra, consider this your cordial invitation to embark on a sensory journey with its limited edition dessert and whisky pairings. The showstopper is a daringly indulgent chocolate Dragon Egg, served with a rare Japanese Hibiki 21 whisky. This extraordinary chocolate creation is crafted in house, combining coffee-gianduja sabayon and black-sesame crunch with 68% Li Chu chocolate. The signature dessert is priced at a cool $200. If your dessert budget doesn’t quite stretch that far, you can still enjoy chocolate and Japanese whisky-tasting flights from $45 per person. The chocolate and whisky pairing experiences are available now until June 30. Book a table at Yamagen here.
