Once you’ve nestled into one of the private cabanas, or settled your backside into one of the rattan lounge chairs, then get yourself a cocktail (or two) and start to work your way through Cabana Bar & Lounge’s delicious new share-food spread. Start with the truffle-salt and parmesan-dusted fries, then work your way toward the coconut and lemon-myrtle prawns, and perhaps the champagne-battered zucchini blossoms. If you’re the carnivorous type, don’t look past the hearty pulled-pork waffle fries, the smoked Reuben taquitos with Russian sauce, and the mini lamb gyros with kombucha-pickled onions.

If you’re a sucker for bao buns, then place your mitts around the eye-catching charcoal black bao, filled with sticky tamari-glazed pork belly, house pickles and Kewpie. There’s also a bunch of vibrant ‘pizzettas’ on offer, with toppings like pulled pork with bacon and bourbon-laced jam. If you’ve got the crew in tow, Cabana Bar’s four-person platters will be an easy stomach-pleaser and are an ideal option to taste your way through the menu favourites. There’s also a raft of gluten-free and vegan options woven throughout the menu – from vegan pizzas to gluten-free crispy squid with chorizo dust.
