Alpine and Sea was born our of necessity for Jen Plahm who, after spending several years living 2500-metres above sea level in a ski town in Utah, had tried hundreds of different skincare products that left her skin feeling dry and irritated. It was when she settled in Currumbin that she decided to take matters into her own hands and began researching and formulating in her home. The more she learnt, the more she became dissatisfied with the current range of products. Even the brands that claimed to be ‘natural’ were made using ingredients that had been stored in warehouses for years diminishing their potency.

Jen has personally scoured the country and forged relationships with small family farms that harvest yearly to ensure every Alpine and Sea product offers maximum potency. As a result, the range has a six to 12-month shelf life and if you’re really keen to maximise its effectiveness, keep it in the fridge. Jen has currently created five unique products ranging from the best-selling Biodynamic Face & Body Serum to the Jet Lag Hydration Skin Water, which she personally uses several times per day.
