The popular Miami spirit makers have just dropped a series of DIY cocktail mixers, packed in generous one-litre bottles, so you can recreate your favourite sips at home. For those that missed out on their tropical holiday this year, the Caribbean Punch mixer will transport you to where you’d rather be – it’s a fruity mix of pineapple, coconut and banana, which you just need to throw into a cocktail shaker (or a water bottle or protein shaker – whatever you have!) with a nip of Granddad Jack’s Barbershop Coffee Liqueur, pour it into a tumbler over ice and start sipping.
There’s also the Gin Paloma mixer for those keen to spice up their at-home G&T game – it’s packed grapefruit and lemon juices, and a housemade strawberry and chamomile syrup. The Watermelon Lovers mixer is a Queensland take on a Moscow Mule (just add vodka!), while the tasting room’s most popular gin-based cocktail – Seymour Street – is also bottled up into mixer form, ready to be shaken with drops of juniper. Having some time off the booze? The mixers also work great on their own as a mocktail – just enjoy a serve on the rocks or combine it with something fizzy. The best part? It’s all made right here in Miami!
The new Granddad Jack’s at-home cocktail mixers are available online or directly at the tasting room. Grab the one-litre bottles on their own, or go all out with a pack, which includes the gin, vodka or liqueur, a cocktail jigger, garnishes and a four-pack of natural tonic.
