If you’ve been known to bust a sweet move on the d-floor (or even if you have absolutely no natural ability but have a blast doing it), Bleach* Festival invites you to let loose and take part in this free dance workshop. Whilst it’s a damn fine excuse to get a little crazy, there is method to the madness. The festival is on the hunt for Gold Coasters of all ages, backgrounds and dancing interests to join a very special project – from bricklayers to baristas, schoolteachers to surfers, mums and dads, grans and great grandads. 

Yes, We Dance!, which will form part of Bleach* Festival and Festival 2018, aims to unearth ten locals, each with extraordinary ways of expressing themselves through dance, to show the world, “We are the everyday people of the Gold Coast and yes, we dance!”

If that sounds like it might be right up your alley, the workshop is free, fun and easy to follow. No formal dance experience necessary and workshops are suitable for people of all ages and physicality. Learn the moves of some signature styles created by our everyday dancing heroes, then join us for a massive dancing party over four nights of the GC2018.
