It’s no secret that music and surfing go hand in hand, so it’s a no-brainer that a music festival should jump on board to follow the Australian leg of the World Surf League Championship Tour. Now in its second year, The Drop will follow the best surf across the country, taking place on the first weekend of each of the three WSL Championship Tour events in Australia, as well as WSL Qualifying Series events Surfest Newcastle and the Vissla Sydney Surf Pro. The 2019 version of The Drop will land in Elizabeth Park in Coolangatta on Saturday April 6 with a killer bill featuring brother-sister duo Angus and Julia Stone, electric-dance duo Client Liaison, surf rockers Hockey Dad, The Jungle Giants and the great Alex the Astronaut. For more information and final tickets head to The Drop website.
