Lilly Piri is opening her studio as part of the Tamborine Mountain Arts Trail. At Lilly’s studio, you can check out her working space, the objects that inspire her still life, as well as watch her paint live during the Arts Trail. Feel free to stop in to chat about technique and all things painting. You will also have the opportunity to purchase paintings, and check out newly finished pieces that have yet to be shown anywhere else.
Lilly loves painting in different styles and creating whatever takes her fancy. Of particular interest is still life, landscape, portraits, woodworking, and colour pencil illustrations.
She has held solo exhibitions in Melbourne, California (USA), Heidelberg (Germany), Byron Bay, and Tamborine Mountain, and has been a finalist in the Churchie and Lethbridge 2000. Her work is held in numerous private collections around the world, and has been in many publications. Her colour pencil illustrations feature on R.A. Spratt’s popular Friday Barnes series.
