Festival 2018 Gold Coast is a 12-day arts and cultural festival that coincides with the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games and is designed to extend the celebrations beyond the stadiums and onto beaches and waterways in more than 28 locations across the city.

Festival 2018 Gold Coast features a range of free city-wide entertainment including music, theatre, circus, dance, ideas and visual arts from more than 1,440 artists from 50 countries.

Broadbeach will be one of the main hubs with a plethora of Queensland’s homegrown music talent including Amy Shark alongside Lastlings, Ella Fence and Eliza and The Delusionals. Not to be outdone, Surfers Paradise will host performances by Yothu Yindi and The Treaty Project, Susheela Raman, M.anifest, The Cat Empire and Hot Dub Time Machine, to name a few.

For the foodies, NightQuarter in Helensvale has unveiled a bold food festival program that will highlight unexpected local tastes and have your mouth watering. Theatre and dance enthusiasts are also in for a treat with performances by Force Majeure, Dancenorth, The Farm, Punchdrunk and Jeremy Goldstein (London Artists Projects).

To see the line-up in all its mighty fine glory, check out the Festival 2018 website.
