Get excited – spring has almost sprung! You know what that means? It's time to roll out the astro turf for the Gold Coast's biggest gardening expo, Botanical Bazaar. All the green thumbs and plant lovers out there, be sure to put Sunday September 16 in your diary – you do not want to miss this.

This year’s highly anticipated Botanical Bazaar will be held at Country Paradise Parklands in Nerang. There will be more than 100 green-inspired exhibitors including herbalists, botanical artists and horticulturalists showcasing their plants, produce, products and sustainable-living concepts. There will also be appearances from celebrity gardeners (including Jerry Coleby-Williams and Phil Dudman from ABC’s Gardening Australia), plus interactive workshops, flower-crown making, fairy gardens and plenty of action for the kids.

If you’re in the market for some new plants, then get the credit card ready. There will be everything from succulents to fruit trees, garden supplies, tools and homewares for sale, as well as a glorious botanical art exhibition for some colourful new-season inspo. You can hang up your gardening hat at the Love Local Garden Bar where you’ll find craft beers and snacks flowing (limoncello-spiked cactus lamingtons, anyone?), while live tunes from local musicians will fill the air throughout the day.

Botanical Bazaar is being held on Sunday September 16 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at Country Paradise Parklands. Tickets are $15 for adults and children are free.
