The $400-million tower, which will incorporate a mix of residential, hotel and retail offerings, will be developed adjacent to The Star’s existing five-star hotel and the all-new luxury six-star hotel, which is due for completion before the 2018 Commonwealth Games. The residential component of the new tower will comprise of 423 one and two-bedroom residential apartments across the upper 33 levels. In addition, there will be around 300 4.5-star hotel rooms over 13 levels, which will sit above a podium of new food and beverage offerings, retail and resort facilities, as well as car parking.

The two bedroom apartments, spanning from 71sqm up to 109sqm, will be priced from $668,500. Situated on the south-east side the the existing hotel complex, apartments in the tower will boast stunning beach and hinterland views. The Star Residences is being developed by the Destination Gold Coast Consortium, a joint venture between The Star Entertainment Group, Far East Consortium and Hong Kong-based Chow Tai Fook Enterprises.
