Featuring sun-kissed scenes of azure blue water gently lapping at the sand, Pacific Pillow Co’s range of home furnishings are so lifelike you can practically smell the salt in the air. The images are all original photographs from owners Liz and Nigel Milnes’ own travels or works from local photographers and illustrators.

The cushions and deck chairs are a labour of love for the Gold Coast couple and their daughter Leila. The images are digitally printed onto soft, linen-like polyester fabric and handsewn by Liz, a former costume maker. The cushions are durable, machine-washable and eco-friendly without compromising the clear, high-quality imagery.

The inspiration for Pacific Pillow Co came about after Liz stumbled across a card in a gift shop that read ‘she designed a life she loved’ and right away she promised herself she would do just that. The Milnes family are driven by a passion to turn something as unremarkable as a cushion into a functional piece of art that can start a conversation, prompt a memory of holidays past or inspire a dream.
