Margarita Margarita has dropped two new fruity flavours

While some folk believe that mulled wine, espresso martinis and hot toddies are perfect winter drinks, we still can't go past a margarita. The brains behind Australia's only mobile marg bar, Margarita Margarita, back us up and have whipped up two new flavours that conveniently come in a bottle – hello, homemade margs!

For two very tasty years, Margarita Margarita has served up thousands of classic margs from Stanley, its mobile tipple dispensary. A hand-blended North American-style margarita mix with a lemon (not lime) base, the mix quickly grew an avid fan base that wanted to get their hands on the recipe. So, it was a natural next step for the team to start bottling their margs and selling them across the country. Margarita fanatics are a hard crowd to please though, and they wanted more flavours. Thankfully, the Margarita Margarita team said ‘ask and you shall receive’.

The first (and highly requested) new flavour is Passionfruit Margarita, which uses real passionfruit to create a tangy and tropical concoction that tipplers are sure to adore. Next up is the Blood Orange Margarita, a fruity creation that will have your taste buds tingling and your mind transported to balmy nights spent on beaches in lands afar. All you need to add to the mixes to ensure perfection is 30-ml of tequila, 15-ml of triple sec, a scoop of ice, then shake – or blend – for a damn fine margarita. Don’t forget the salt rim!

Margarita Margarita mixes are $27 for 1-L bottles (which make ten margs) and can be purchased online or you can pick up this tasty concoction at selected stockists
