Fill your trolley with fresh produce for less at the brand-new Jones & Co Grocer

As much as we love eating out, there is something about coming home to a fully-stocked fridge and cooking up a storm in your kitchen that feels incredibly wholesome. Bonus points if you're using fresh, local produce that didn't break the bank when you bought it. As the cost of living goes up, many families and Gold Coast locals are on the hunt for supermarkets and retailers that offer high-quality produce and goods at affordable prices. Jones & Co Grocer has heard the call of frustrated shoppers and is opening its flagship supermarket at the new Queen Street Village precinct in Southport on Wednesday October 19. With a walk-in fromagerie, sushi station, gourmet butcher and dedicated health and wellness department, we have a feeling it will be your new go-to for the weekly shop.

The large format IGA Jones & Co Grocer is a welcome addition to the recently opened Queen Street Village precinct, which is slowly filling up with a bevvy of fantastic retailers. More than just a corner store, Jones & Co has employed 200 Gold Coast locals to help curate a delicious shopping experience. The store is set to become an iconic food destination on the Gold Coast, stocking thousands of products, including a wide range of fresh, local produce and everyday favourites. If you’re planning a special meal or just like trying new recipes with exotic ingredients, you’ll be happy to hear that Jones & Co also stocks a wide range of hard-to-find delicacies alongside the in-house gourmet butchery, bakery and patisserie. Mid-shop croissant, anyone?

Perhaps the biggest drawcard for local lactose lovers is the walk-in fromagerie that stocks more than 500 varieties of cheese from around the world. Grocer or heaven? We’re not quite sure. If you can pull yourself away from the cheese, we recommend checking out the extensive selection of health and wellbeing brands in the Wellness + Life department. The golden rule of doing the groceries is never shopping on an empty stomach, so be sure to grab some pre-game fuel from any of the featured vendors inside the grocer, including Little Sushi Co, Mrs Jones Kitchen and Nourish Juice + Eats. You’ll also be able to pick up a last-minute gift or treat at Rosie Blooms & Botanicals – a surefire way to brighten up your day and your trolley. Jones & Co Grocer has direct access to the tram with Nerang Street station just out the front. You are also welcome to enjoy two hours of free undercover parking, order online with free click and collect, or have the groceries delivered straight to your door. Beyond the flash store and wide variety of gourmet food offerings, the beauty of Jones & Co Grocer is that it has a genuine focus on competitive pricing, meaning you don’t need to break the bank to put delicious food on the table each week.

You can find Jones & Co Grocer at 129 Queen Street in Southport, open seven days a week from 6:00 am until 10:00 pm.
