Having won over the pizza-loving populace with its refined Italian-style food at Gemelli Italian in Broadbeach, the gents have ventured to Nobby Beach to open Gemellini. Envisaged as a more intimate and slightly more laid-back version of its big sister, Gemellini is the perfect place to pop in for an aperitif at the bar as well as wine-filled catch-ups over a pizza or two. Showcasing the same finesse of flavour that the brothers have become renowned for, the menu offers a few tried-and-tested favourites but has introduced a selection of small plates such as eggplant dusted with Pecorino and drizzled with gorgonzola and honey and grilled polenta topped with eight-hour slow cooked Angus beef cheek ragu. The beverage list has been equally as well curated with Italian wines and bottled beers alongside some original, specialty cocktails with an Italian twist.
