Decorate your home office with local art from online collective Cream Town

As with a lot of professions, the arts industry and local artists in particular have have been financially affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, with a lot of individuals completely losing their income. To help ease the financial strain, newly launched online art collective Cream Town is helping to support these artists by selling their works as prints. If you're currently working from home and have a little bit of spare cash, now is the time to shop local and purchase an eye-catching piece for a good cause.

Cream Town’s online shop was founded by Victorian photographer Isaebella Doherty, who supports the idea that buying art is a form of self-care – and boy, do we need some self-care right now. The online space has rallied a number of different artists from all over Australia, including the likes of Taner Ufuk, Lilli Waters, Ilsa Wynne-Hoelscher Kidd, Georgia Smedley, Lekhena Porter, Julia Chetwood, Edward Goldner, Angus Scott and Em Jensen, with many more still to be added.

The site boasts a wide selection of striking fine-art prints, ranging from illustration to photography and beyond. With a limited stock of ten per work printed by Melbourne studio Hound & Bone, each piece is going for an affordable price point of $100, with a flat-rate shipping fee of $12.95 per order. Plus, if you can afford it, donations are being encouraged and will be evenly split between all artists involved. To snag yourself a beautiful piece for your at-home work space, head here.
