The brand’s new swimwear range is made from 100% ECONYL nylon, which is regenerated from pre and post-consumer waste, including discarded plastic, fishing nets and fabric scraps. The sustainable pieces are long lasting, durable and more resistant to chlorine, suncreams and oils than other swim fabrics. Plus, in true Arnhem style – they are flattering, colourful and stylish. Oh, and if you purchase online, your order will arrive in a compostable post satchel.
The swimwear range forms part of Arnhem’s environmentally conscious Azalea collection, which also features a range of maxi dresses, skirts and rompers. The new drop has been designed with the planet in mind, using botanical fibres to create pieces that are both soft on your skin and on the environment. Arnhem Clothing started from humble beginnings in Byron Bay at the hands of founder and creative director Arnhem Bickley. Raised completely off the grid for the first 15 years of her life, Arnhem grew up in a tipi in the Byron Bay hinterland, where she developed her inherent talent and passion for design, creativity and colour.
