If you’re looking to step up your culinary prowess and enjoy meeting new people, book yourself in to Gather Workshop: food + craft in Byron Bay. This delicious full day workshop combines cooking and craft to bring you a day that encourages you to slow down and enjoy the simple things in life. Traditional cooking from scratch (think pickles, yoghurt and kombucha), with Kate Walsh from Real Food, as well as the traditional craft of basket weaving, with Ellie Beck, will bring a modern twist to these ancient skills, in the rustic beauty of the Hinterland’s Newrybar. A long table lunch, combined with conversation and community connection will make this, the first, of our Gather events a special day to attend.
