Despite the name, Riff Raff Espresso has nothing short of a great reputation among its laid back Cabarita locals. Kingscliff owner Tayla Nasveld, a former flight attendant and hospo enthusiast, takes a no-nonsense approach to running the quaint cafe and providing the goods she knows her loyal surfing community are after. Not your average hole-in-the-wall coffee spot, Riff Raff offers a satisfying after-surf feed accompanied by an 100 percent organic Moonshine Coffee brew. Standout menu items include the I’m a Classic Man toastie with ham off the bone, smoked cheddar and tomato and chilli relish made on Panya sourdough. For a lighter option, the Holy Granoly Bowl served with yoghurt, shredded apple and almonds is a winner. If you’re in a rush to get out of your rashie, you can even call ahead to have your coffee ready for when you get there!
