Next Door Espresso is a dreamy coffee bar located in Tweed Heads, overlooking Terranora Creek. For those that appreciate a top-notch brew, you will be happy to know that Moonshine Coffee, from Federal near Byron Bay, is being pumped out here on the daily and for non-coffee folk, there’s Mayde organic tea, iced tea, milkshakes and cold-pressed juices. The menu meanders from light bites such as sourdough crumpets and flaky croissants through to classic bacon-and-egg rolls and the Old Mate Benny, which is gooey poachies perched high atop a crumpet and slathered with house-made hollandaise. The creekside cafe is the epitome of coastal chic and looks as though it has appeared straight from your Pinterest board with sleek polished concrete floors, rustic timber tables and crisp-white everything. Striking rattan pendant lights hover overhead whilst sunlight pours in from the enormous windows that frame the front facade. If the sun is shining, pull up a seat outside under the giant umbrellas or sink into a white-linen director’s chair inside – at Next Door, there are no bad choices.
