Miami Fish Market will be unlike anything the Gold Coast has seen before. Taking over a former factory space in Miami, the venue is a joint project from seafood enthusiasts Paul Gloftis and Craig Warren. Miami Fish Market will be open to the public and showcase a mouth-watering selection of sustainably sourced seafood, primarily from Australia and New Zealand, but there will be some specialty goods from Europe and Japan. The exact details are being kept under wraps for the moment but we’re told there will be a dedicated sashimi and oyster bar, live seafood as well as some more unusual selections – including Paul’s favourite, sea urchins. You needn’t possess mad culinary skills to enjoy the fare as there will be a selection of ready-to-cook fillets that are pre-marinated so all you have to do is bake in the oven for 15-minutes and voilà, you have yourself a restaurant-quality meal at home – suffice to say, we’re here for it!
