Sometimes simple pleasures are the best and that’s precisely what you’ll find at LOT TWO. Overlooking the Terranora Broadwater in Tweed Heads, the cafe is open daily from 10:00–11:30 am before transforming into a restaurant from midday. Take a seat and enjoy the view as you sip on Byron Bay’s Marvell Street coffee or settle in for a long lunch on the deck or indulge in dinner as the sun sets. The menu, curated by head chef Juan Hernandez, is designed to showcase sustainable modern Australian fare with a coastal twist – think green bowls brimming with seasonal goodness, seafood straight off the trawler, crisp Italian pizzas from the wood-fired oven and of course, all of your pub favourites including steak grilled to perfection. The culinary offering provides a little taste of the Gold Coast with a nod to Juan’s Chilean heritage and his deep love for the French, Spanish and Italian way of cooking, which is based on simplicity to allow the produce to shine.
