From the same owners of Mermaid Waters cafe Double Barrel Kitchen, this striking waterfront cafe and restaurant serves breakfast and lunch daily, as well as dinners on Friday and Saturday nights. Coffees by Supreme Roasters are pouring from 6:00 am, kicking off a breakfast menu of bakery bites (Burleigh Baker toasts, daily croissants, bagels), a selection of colourful bowls (granola, acai, oats and a savoury greens bowl) and breakfast classics like bacon and egg milk buns, and eggs benedict. One menu covers both the daily lunches and weekend dinners (though, lunchers also get a choice of burgers and a delicious pork banh mi roll), ranging from smaller bites and salads, right through to steaks, a series of mains and two-person shares plates. Behind the bar you’ll find a selection of wines, beers on tap, spirits and cocktails, which can be enjoyed with brunch, lunch, dinner or any time you feel like enjoying a tipple with a side of pristine water views.
