Kelly Kohler, a Paradise Point local, set out to create Buoy Oh Buoy in a quest to give the northern end a taste of what the southern Gold Coast has so much of. So, with the fellas from Blackboard Coffee on board with the beans, Kelly and her family transformed the former pool shop on Falkinder Avenue to create one of the coolest new coffee joints around. Alongside the Blackboard coffee, you’ll find a cabinet brimming with savoury bites, sweet treats, and a colourful series of salads. You should know that these aren’t your usual run-of-the-mill salads that make you want a burger instead … these are salads that you’ll actually want to eat, which, let’s be honest, is hard to nail on the daily.
