After four years at Ephraim Island, fine-dining institution Artichoke Restaurant and Bar has found a new home overlooking the superyachts at Sanctuary Cove’s The Marine Village. The lavish new digs are decked out with polished concrete floors, a luxurious fit-out and ambient lighting, setting the tone for a truly indulgent culinary journey. Armed with almost 40 years hospitality experience, owner and executive chef Grant Madgwick has created a new menu that features a myriad of international influences with fine-dining flare, think king fish carpaccio with squid ink, horseradish mousse, hazelnut crumble, Persian feta and micro herbs sitting pretty alongside Coca Cola pork belly served with Grand Marnier, mostarda fruit and pickled fennel salad. Diners are encouraged to embrace indecision with sample-sized dishes that present slightly larger than a standard entree allowing you to try a little of everything. If you still can’t make up your mind, opt for the restaurant’s Trust The Chef degustation menu. Not just a great spot for an indulgent lunch or dinner date, Artichoke also provides the perfect venue for special occasions with The Golden Room, the restaurant’s private dining quarters.
