The Box/d Society was created by mother-daughter duo, Jess Geeves and Chris Field, who are experienced and backed by a team of some of Brisbane’s best event designers. Jess and Chris believe Australians need to gather, connect and not let any milestone go uncelebrated – and they also believe it should be done in style. Thus, they started The Box/d Society so that social butterflies like them can spruce up their dinner parties and impress their guests with rentable, no-stress, no-waste table decor kits. It’s as easy as choosing the tablescape you think would suit your fun-filled gathering (there’s currently several different styles to mull over), which contains all of the items you need to host the perfect dinner party. The kits contain dinner plates, tumblers, cutlery, table runners, napkins, vases, florals, lanterns, candles and much more, with the option to add some extras if you’re feeling fancy! Then all you have to do is input your guest number and party date into the ordering process, then the order is delivered to your doorstep a few days before your event.
After the party is over (sad face) and the glitter has settled, repackage everything back into The Box/d Society bag and return it to the warehouse with the prepaid shipping label. Party planning is not all that the The Box/d Society crew are currently devising – they also have plans to partner with local artists for their first designer collection, with the proceeds of each hire donated to the artist and providing support to the creative community.
