There’s a luxe new pool club hitting the coast this summer – Isoletto is set to serve up sun-kissed sips in spades

As the year hurtles towards the peak of summer faster than you can say "silly season", there's only one thing on our minds – kicking back in the sunshine with some delicious drinks and our best mates, as far from our work desks as possible. Well, we have some excellent news for those feeling the same, and it's coming this December – say hello to Isoletto and Isoletto Privé, The Star Gold Coast's luxe new beach club and event space.

When we’re talking about The Star this summer, things can be summarised quite succinctly – there’s a bit on. When Queensland’s borders reopen on December 17, the doors to the Leisure Deck of The Star Residences will also swing open, offering locals and visitors alike a peek at the coast’s hottest new lifestyle destination. Level six of the $400-million, 53-storey residential and hotel tower will be home to both Isoletto and Isoletto Privé, in an exciting sign of things to come for the coast.

Isoletto is inspired by sun-drenched days and reminiscent of an island escape – if that island was in the sky and featured jaw-dropping views of both the beach and hinterland, of course. The brand-new pool club will be exclusive to all hotel guests of The Star, including The Star Grand, The Darling and Dorsett Gold Coast, which is set to open on December 26 this year. Isoletto is a picturesque space that features a 12-m-long viewing wall overlooking the glittering lights of Broadbeach along with cabanas and plush daybeds perched by the wet-lounge-studded pool. Alongside this dreamy outdoor space is an indoor-outdoor restaurant and lounge serving light bites and hand-crafted cocktails – it’s the stuff of design dreams, injected with fun pops of peach and lemon while retaining a sense of coastal cool.

When low-key just won’t do, say hello to Isoletto Privé – The Leisure Deck’s events space that will play host to private celebrations, weddings and corporate events. A trio of spaces including a lush lawn, deck and terrace will combine to create the ultimate locale for everything from cocktail parties and canape events to high-end corporate conferences. Isoletto’s exclusive sibling will also feature locally sourced dining experiences and the freedom to create a truly personalised event, which will no doubt see it become a highly sought-after space on the Gold Coast scene.

While Isoletto Pool Club and Isoletto Privé are yet to open, rest assured that we will bring you all of the jaw-dropping details as they come to light.

The Stumble Guide is our comprehensive Gold Coast dining guide with more than 870 places to eat, drink, shop and play.
