If your liquor cabinet or fancy drinks trolley is housing some fine spirits, then you'll need quality mixers to match. The genius folk behind drinks company StrangeLove have just dropped a series of fancy new mixers that put an intriguing and refined spin on traditional sugar-laden varieties.

Bored of the usual gin and tonic or whisky and dry? StrangeLove has your back. Its new collection of mixers takes simple recipes – from lemonade to ginger ale – and spins them on their head. For that bottle of tequila you’ve itching to crack, smooth it out with the salty and sour tang of the Salted White Grapefruit – a delicate yet punchy mixture of grapefruit essential oils and pink salt flakes from the Murray River.

The Hot Ginger Beer will spice up your rum, whisky or bourbon experience by tempering the dry heat of the Australian ginger root with the spicy aromatics of Sichuan pepper. The Fancy Lemonade is based on a traditional homemade lemonade recipe, combining Australian lemons grown in Mildura with delicate clementine oil and high-spec lemon extract – and unlike most lemonades, the sugar content is super low. The new flavours join StrangeLove’s delicious core line-up, which features OG variations like the cinchona bark-infused Dirty Tonic, the super-dry and hard-hitting Tonic No.8 and the sophisticated applewood-smoked Dry Ginger Ale.
