Have your custom cake and eat it too with help from Peace of Cake

As simple as it is to whip up a box cake, sometimes Betty Crocker doesn't quite cut it when you're in charge of bringing dessert along to a celebration. That’s where dreamy dessert-centric concept Peace of Cake comes in with a bevy of beautifully made cakes that are sure to impress your friends and family. All you have to do is order a custom creation then you can sit back, relax and *ahem* 'cake' it easy.

Peace of Cake is the brainchild of culinary whiz Katie Miller, a former hairdresser turned self-taught baker. Katie turned her passion for baking into a career after learning some tricks of the trade from a close friend with a dessert-making background. Now, us mere mortals get to reap the sweet, sweet rewards of Katie’s study. Peace of Cake, as the name suggests, specialises in custom cakes for events big or small – whether it be for weddings, birthday parties or office functions. All the creations have the same elements in common – they are loud, fun and absolutely delicious.

The cakes come in several tastebud-temping flavours like buttercream caramel, white-chocolate ganache, fairy bread, rosemary and macaron, alcohol-infused cocktail cakes and even a shag variety (take a look for yourself here). Katie’s range of decadent treats doesn’t stop at cakes – you can also snag cupcakes, cake pops, brownies and cake fillings (think flavours like lemon curd, salted caramel, passionfruit curd and edible cookie dough), which even come in jars – the perfect vessel for devouring them straight with a spoon. Plus, Katie’s creations can be made to any dietary request. Take a closer look at Peace of Cake’s toothsome delicacies here.
