September 9 will also see the opening of Hero Sushi Train and Enzo’s Italian, which will whet your appetite in anticipation for Queensland’s first Wahlburgers and TGI Fridays that are set to open soon after. El Camino Cantina has already got us excited, teasing Surfers Paradise-inspired decor and the fact that this will be the first location in Australia to offer the coveted breakfast menu. Likewise, this will be the first Gold Coast location for Gelato Messina. If you haven’t tried any of the 35 standard flavours, rotating specials, milkshakes or cakes, then it’s time to get excited. These lactose-loving legends are about to change the way you gelato.
Each of these dining destinations will bring its own flair to Surfers Paradise, teasing opening specials, relaxed fit-outs, takeaway and dine-in services, and a mountain of nourishing nosh to fuel your next beach trip. While you’re there, be sure to stop at any of the new retailers joining the recently opened Vans and Surf Dive N’ Ski, including Baku Swimwear, Rip Curl, Stateside Sports and Dastaan Barber.
