Davide believes that, like food, gelato is connected to memories and helps to take you back to a special time and place in your life. If you’re lucky, you can catch a glimpse of the masters at work through the gigantic glass window at the far end of the venue. Layer upon layer, the toppings are mixed in so that you get the complete flavour experience with every scoop. Along with the new venue came an expanded menu featuring coffee by Austria’s Julius Meinl and baked goods by Nobee’s Viennoiserie Lab in Currumbin Waters, which Giordana believes are just like the ones she grew up with in Italy. The space itself has been created by the same architect who was behind Dust Temple in Currumbin and features an eye-popping installation suspended from the ceiling as well as ample seating to savour the experience.
