Gift yourself (and your family) a stress-free Christmas lunch with all of the trimmings at Lot Two

It's Christmas Day. The gifts are unwrapped. It's about 67-degrees celsius in the kitchen because you've had the oven cranked for hours to get those vegetables perfectly crisp whilst you tend to a needy bird that requires basting every six-or-so seconds. By the time you (finally) sit down to eat, you're exhausted. And you still have to clean up. This year, do things a little differently and outsource the hard work so all that's left for you to do is tuck into a fanciful three-course Christmas lunch with all of the trimmings at Lot Two. The best part? When you're done, you can leave the dishes behind and get on with enjoying your day with your nearest and dearest.

If your ideal Christmas Day involves plenty of fine food and a couple of cold beverages, go forth and book a table at Seagulls for a festive feast you won’t forget. Start with an entree of fresh prawns, oysters and smoked salmon, pick at a plate brimming with antipasto goodness or stick a fork into the chef’s own creation vegeducken, which is a meat-free twist on the turducken (for those who aren’t familiar, it’s a chicken stuffed into a duck and then stuffed into a turkey). Next up is a traditional roast lunch with your choice of either honey-baked ham, roast turkey with house-made cranberry sauce or succulent roast pork smothered with apple sauce. For vegetarian guests, there’s a fresh and summery salad to tantalise your tastebuds. What would a merry meal be without dessert? Incomplete, that’s what. Finish your feast with a Christmas pudding topped with lashings of brandy sauce or a piece of pavlova topped with fresh berries and zesty passionfruit.

You’ll be as jolly as the big man himself with the venue’s three-hour beverage package consisting of Chandon bubbles, red and white wine selections, tap beers, Stone & Wood and three special Christmas cocktails – and yes, before you ask, gingerbread eggnog is one of them! Lot Two’s festive feast is $120 per person for adults (including the drinks package), $85 for young people aged 13-17, $30 for little folk 5-12 and children under five are free! A stress-free Christmas lunch with all of the trimmings – it’s a Christmas miracle! To book, call 07 5587 9000 or jump over here for all of the delicious details but remember, places are strictly limited so you may want to hustle.
