Chocolate that’s good for you – indulge in sweet treats by Byron Bay’s Loco Love

Unfortunately 'chocolate' and 'good for you' are rarely seen in the same sentence. Well, that was until Loco Love came along. These Byron Bay-made artisan chocolates are handcrafted with organic ingredients, superfoods, tonic herbs and healing spices so you can, for once in your life, actually feel good after you indulge.

Chocolate that tastes great and benefits your wellbeing? Now that might have seemed like an elaborate dream for some, but (thank the chocolate gods) that it became a reality for naturopath, nutritionist and Loco Love founder Emica Penklis. The Loco Love chocolates are vegan, completely free from refined sugars, gluten, soy and fillers – instead they are boosted with carefully sourced superfoods, tonic herbs, therapeutic-grade essential oils and, well, a little bit of magic.

As the Loco Love chocolates are developed by a naturopath and nutritionist, they contain no artificial or refined ingredients – and you’ll be pleased to know they are produced lovingly by hand in small batches. You’ll find everything from Butter Caramel Pecan Flavour through to Wild Orange and Salted Macadamia and Lemon (um, yum). You can order a box of Loco Love chocolates for yourself or as a gift online (just imagine if these delightful little morsels turned up at your front door!) or head here to check out your local stockists. Us Gold Coast folk can find Loco Love chocolates at Stable Coffee Kitchen, Kiss the Berry, Helen’s Heavenly Wholefoods and Canvas Espresso.

The Stumble Guide is our comprehensive Gold Coast dining guide with more than 870 places to eat, drink, shop and play.
