Your turn to shout? Stride into Hyde Paradiso for half-price eats until the end of April

If you often find that your stomach yearns for more than your bank account can afford, here's some news that will delight both your tastebuds and your wallet – beachfront dining spot Hyde Paradiso in Surfers Paradise is offering diners 49 percent off their food bill throughout March and April. We know what you're thinking ... what's the catch? Well, there really isn't one.

All you have to do is buy a drink – yep, even just a lemonade will count – and whatever food you order will be 49 percent off. We’re talking eats like fried haloumi chips, punchy Peruvian-style ceviche and popcorn mushrooms with vibrant chimichurri sauce, all dished up for a smidgen under half price. You can head in at lunch or dinner (Hyde opens Wednesday to Sunday) to nab your cheap feast, which will leave plenty of dollars in your pocket for a cheeky salted coconut margarita or three.

The bargain offer coincides with the launch of a new Mediterranean-inspired menu at Hyde Paradiso, which shines a light on local produce and seafood across a series of smaller plates and larger share dishes. You can enjoy bites like housemade focaccia with spiced-corn dip and a sprinkling of bacon crumb, flaky spanakopita with honey mustard, pacific oysters with mignonette dressing, a watermelon, fetta and baby gem-lettuce salad with pomegranate, and gambas al ajillo (garlic prawns) with Spanish butter. For a heartier feast, there’s larger share plates like the grilled Portuguese chicken with red onion, lemon and pickles, porcini-mushroom and truffle risotto, and Cape Grim ribeye steak with zucchini and confit tomatoes. The 49-percent-off deal applies to absolutely everything on the menu, which you can view in full here. Is it your turn to shout? How convenient.

Bookings must be made via the Hyde Paradiso website to redeem the offer, which is valid for lunch and dinner only, until April 30.

You’ll find Hyde Paradiso’s address and contact details over in our Stumble Guide.

The Stumble Guide is our comprehensive Gold Coast dining guide with more than 870 places to eat, drink, shop and play.
