Teaming up with local venues across the country, Hennessy’s hospitality recovery initiative – aptly named Hennessy for Hospo – will provide around $200,000 of immediate cash relief through the process of purchasing vouchers to restaurants and bars that have been impacted by the pandemic. These meal vouchers will then be passed on to hard-hit (and hard-working) hospitality workers and event staff who have lost vital income since the outbreak. The cherry on top? Each hospo worker will also receive a complimentary 50-ml mini-bottle of Hennessy VSOP as well as a Fever Tree ginger-ale mixer, which when paired with some ice and a lime wedge, makes a mean ginger mule.
Some of the participating venues across Brisbane that are set to link up with the world-class cognac maker include Mei Wei Dumplings, Same Same, The Boundary Hotel, Patina at Customs House, Montrachet, Reef Seafood and Sushi and Mr Mista. The initiative will also see Hennesy make friends with Mamasan Kitchen + Bar and The Loose Moose Tap & Grill House on the Gold Coast. To claim their $50 takeaway or dine-in voucher to one of the participating venues, hospitality workers can jump onto the Hennessy for Hospo website and register their proof of RSA.
To learn more about the initiative or to register, make tracks to the Hennessy for Hospo website. In the meantime, pop on ‘Hennessy’ by Tupac – it’s a delight.
