Gold Coast, you well and truly know the drill. Lay low this week (seriously, you only have a handful of reasons to leave your home) and be sure to support local however you can – it can be as simple as picking up a takeaway coffee or feed. So you know where to score some takeaway sips and snacks, we have collated a handy list of venues who will be trading safely during lockdown. The situation is constantly changing and hours may differ from the norm, so we suggest you double check with your chosen restaurant, cafe or bar by checking their socials, calling them or sliding into their DMs. Also, while Deliveroo or Uber Eats can be super convenient (and the former is currently offering free delivery until Wednesday August 3), they also take a cut from the venue. If you can and feel safe to do so, we recommend cutting out the middleman and ordering directly through your favourite spots. Just remember to mask up, check in and adhere to social distancing.
