Euro Grill spreads its tasty burger love with a new beachside Burleigh venue

If you've ever been to Euro Grill at Treetops Plaza, you'll know of its famous burger fare. For the past five years, the daytime hub has been pumping out hearty breakfasts by morning, and fresh, tasty burgers by lunch. Now, the popular eatery has expanded its foodie wings with another venue in the heart of Burleigh Heads, this time it's with a cool night time spin – cue beers, burgers and beachside vibes.

Brother and sister Boyan and Vanya Karaman first started Euro Grill at Miami One nine years ago. That Miami venue, which has now sold, paved the way for the second and incredibly popular Euro Grill space at Treetops Plaza in Burleigh Waters. Fast forward another five years, and here we are welcoming the talented duo’s latest addition, which sees a slightly more modern twist on their popular casual eatery concept. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it – so you can certainly expect to see the same popular Euro Grill menu, but with a few contemporary additions to entice the local foodies. For breakfast, there is everything from hearty bacon and egg rolls, to housemade Spanish chorizo and beans with chévre, and a haloumi roll with garlic mushrooms and fried eggs.

Once lunch and dinner roll around, it’s burger time. There are beef, pulled pork, steak, vegetarian (that means more haloumi – heaven) and chicken burgers, plus a tasty selection of sliders. The spicy fried chicken burger with jalapenos, cheese and spicy aioli will fill the gap, or you can tackle a few sliders – the Piggy Smalls with 12-hour slow-cooked pork, pickles, smoky aioli and coleslaw is a banger, or the simple Little Cheezee with beef, cheese, pickles and caramelised onions will put you in a good place. There are salads if you’re after something light, and even some crispy kale chips with sea salt as a healthy side. Speaking of chips (we often do), Euro Grill’s beer-battered fries, sprinkled with a hint of herbs and salt, are life-changing. What’s even better is that you can wash it all down with a cold beer or a crisp white wine. Anywhere you can have a quality burger and a beer in the comfort of your rubber thongs is a good vibe.
