No more long lines – grab your favourite showbags from your local IGA

It was a sad day indeed when news broke that this year's Ekka as well as virtually every other mass-gathering of people was cancelled or postponed for the foreseeable future. The very small sugar-coated silver lining is that we have been blessed with some very sweet news that is sure to cheer up kids and kids-at-heart. Bringing the fun fair to you, Bensons Showbags has teamed up with IGA, so we can now get our hot little hands on a huge range of iconic confectionary and novelty showbags without a trip to the showgrounds. Curly Wurlys, here we come!

2020 has robbed us of a lot of things but let’s not let COVID cancel confectionary-induced happiness! Available for a limited time only, Bensons Showbags will be stocked on the shelves of over 200 selected IGA stores across Queensland and Northern New South Wales as part of the Showbags Bonanza Sale. Relive all of the giddiness you felt as a kids as you delve into the bag jam-packed with bite-sized blocks of Dairy Milk, Caramello Koala, Curly Wurly, Chupa Chups, Zappo and the sour-then-sweet taste explosion that are Warheads. For the wee ones, there is a range of novelty showbags featuring everybody’s favourite blue heelers Bluey and her sister Bingo, Harry Potter, Hot Wheels, Pokémon and many more childhood favourites available to purchase. The catalogue includes a total of 20 themed showbags priced at $5, $10 or $30 – but can you really put a price on happiness?

If you can’t find the showbag you’re after at IGA, all you have to do is hop on to Showbags.com.au to shops its huge range of carnival confectionary, novelty packs and toys. On the website you’ll find showbags like the Horror Fun showbag (featuring the always funny whoopee cushion), a glow-in-the-dark showbag, a Friends showbag and many more.

To find your nearest IGA store, visit the IGA website or to peep the full Bensons Showbags range, head here.
