The results are in! Here are the winners of the 2019 EAT/drink Awards …

After a record number of votes, we're delighted to finally reveal the results of The Weekend Edition Gold Coast’s 2019 EAT/drink Awards! Supported by our good mates at Newstead Brewing Co., this year’s awards feature the institutions, the newcomers and the favourites, with each winner nominated and voted by you, our readers.

The Weekend Edition passionately supports and showcases talent in the hospitality industry and these awards, now in their fourth year, ensure readers can have their say and give venues and owners the recognition they deserve. From the morning coffee hubs to the tiny hidden bars, the beachside icons and the under-the-radar neighbourhood eateries – the Gold Coast is full of goodness, and this is a way of shining a light on the best of the best.

Congratulations to all of the winners and runners up of The Weekend Edition Gold Coast’s EAT/drink Awards 2019! Following record nominations and votes, we’ve dubbed this one our largest epicurean poll to date. The results also include our special bonus category – Best Food Porn. This category was voted exclusively on Instagram – voters took a snap of a drool-worthy dish, posted it to Instagram and tagged #TWEFoodPorn.

Want to know who the people of the Gold Coast love the most? The full list of EAT/drink 2019 winners can be found below. Be sure to look out for our round-ups for the top ten of the major categories throughout the year!
