Buffet breakfast and sunset sips – elevate your staycay in Dorsett Gold Coast’s stunning Executive Lounge

When it comes to weekenders or staycays, you really want to go all out to make the experience worth leaving your home for. If your ideal getaway involves grand views, lush amenities and lavish extras, Dorsett Gold Coast is right up your alley. The brand-new 53-storey tower opened its doors earlier this year and delivers the ultimate mix of fun and sophistication – the perfect combination for your weekend away. As the cherry on top, when you book a stay in one of its stunning Executive Rooms, you will be granted exclusive access to the Executive Lounge – the hotel's sky-high sipping and snacking spot where you can enjoy bites, bevvies and beautiful views.

Located on the highest floors of Dorsett Gold Coast, the Executive Rooms are the ideal option for those looking to elevate their getaway to the next level. These palatial pads boast all of the creature comforts that the dreamy new hotel is renowned for, as well as private balconies with picturesque views of the coastline or the lush hinterland. Perhaps most excitingly, the Executive Rooms give you exclusive access to the Executive Lounge, which isn’t open to the general public. It’s inside this elegant hang-out spot, which features custom fixtures and furnishings courtesy of interior design firm Hirsch Bedner Associates, where you can make the most of a complimentary breakfast, sunset drinks and canapes – all for free! Yes, you read right.

Wake up on the right side of the bed with the promise of a bountiful buffet breakfast filled with all of your most-loved morning munchies like eggs your way, crispy bacon, fresh tomatoes and sizzling sausages. After something sweeter? Snack on chia-seed puddings, bircher muesli, seasonal fruit platters, decadent waffles with strawberries and maple syrup, and croissants and danishes. There’s even a DIY granola bar with all of the healthy toppings and a Byron Bay Honeycomb stand, alongside fresh juices and fresh coffee. Then, from 5:00–6:30 pm, guests can mosey back to enjoy sunset drinks with refreshing sips such as red and white wines, sparkling wines, icy-cold beers, soft drink and juice on offer. Peckish? You’re in luck, the Executive Lounge also offers a tantalising array of canapes to munch on – think freshly sliced deli meats, local and international cheeses, dips, sushi, arancini balls, tempura prawns, and compressed watermelon with feta.

Guess what? Even if you’re not booked into an Executive Room, guests can choose to upgrade their stay to allow access to the Executive Lounge from $80 per person. This is subject to availability and requires a minimum of two people. We suggest hopping over here to make a booking, stat.
