All you need to do is slink away from work and slip into Alchemy’s enchanting embrace for a mouth-watering lunch and sweeping views of the Story Bridge and Brisbane River.

Patina Customs House: Life’s too short to settle for boring lunches, so the legends at Patina have crafted up this epicurean lunchtime delight. For only $35 you can sip on a glass of Atè pinot grigio or cabernet sauvignon and sink your teeth into the glory that is 12-hour smoked South Burnett pork belly, confit potatoes, peas, salsa verde, sugar-snap peas and radish. Live life a little fancier with this truly fantastic feast.

Mr & Mrs G: Perched right on the river at Eagle Street Pier, Mr & Mrs G is a cocktail and tapas hot spot with a seriously enviable view. Here, you can take your sandwich game to new heights and chow down on a fresh prawn and bug roll with dill on a brioche bun. Oh, and did we mention it is served with a glass of Veuve Clicquot, all for only $35? Now that is the kind of mealtime motivation we have been looking for.
